Precautions for using American LODGE iron kitchenware:
Cooking:
1. When cooking, add a little oil, heat it over low heat first, then slowly increase the temperature.
2. Do not cook food that is too frozen to avoid sticking to the bottom.
3. Please note that the handle of the pot will become very hot during cooking, please use oven gloves.
4. The smooth surface of kitchen utensils is treated with oil at high temperatures and is not an easy-to-clean coating.
Cleaning:
1. Wash with hot water after use. Do not use dishwasher or dishwasher.
2. Do not put the kitchenware into cold water immediately while it is still hot.
3. Wipe dry immediately after cleaning, then while the cookware is still warm, lightly apply a layer of oil to prevent rust.
4. If there are stubborn stains, boil water with a kitchen utensil for a few minutes to soften the stains and then wash again.
5. Do not let the kitchenware dry, otherwise it will rust easily.
store:
1. Store in a dry place.
2. If the kitchen has a lid, place kitchen towels between the pot and the lid during storage to allow air circulation and prevent moisture from accumulating in the pot.
Repair surface treatment:
1. If the kitchenware is rusty, please use fine sandpaper to remove the rust stains and then repair the surface.
2. When performing surface treatment, first clean with hot water, dish soap and a hard brush. (Since the surface will be repaired later, you can clean it with dish soap at this time.)
3. Rinse and pat dry.
4. Apply a thin layer of raw oil evenly to the inside and outside of the kitchen utensils.
5. Place aluminum paper on the bottom shelf of the oven to catch oil drippings.
6. Set the oven temperature to 180-200 degrees Celsius.
7. Turn the kitchenware upside down and place it on the highest rack in the oven.
8. Bake for at least one hour, then turn off the power and allow the kitchenware to cool naturally in the oven.
9. Store in a dry place after cooling. Do not close the lid during storage.
